Justin Fleming | Mike is a gentleman and a scholar. I called about my fridge and freezer not working, but the light and displays working. Mike walked me through the basics of how a refrigerator works and the possible problems. Turns out it was an interruption issue on the control board and it needed to be unplugged for a few hours. He did not even push to get a repair rep. out until we knew if that would fix it or not. Other companies may push an 80-100 dollar call out just to make a buck. He was honest and upfront about the possibility of a repair rep. coming out if need be. While we waited for the fridge to reset, he set up the appointment if needed and easily canceled it. |
Jack Hunter | Recently purchased a home knowing the refrigerator did not work. Bought a new one at Lowes but it was too big for the delivery people to fit through the door. Got to thinking maybe the old one could be repaired eliminating the need to take one apart to get it out as well as the new one to get it in. Called Mike at 1st Choice who said he would be happy to come out but advised me to first plug it back in case sometimes the circuit boards just need to be re-booted and it might actually start working again. I called him back to tell him he was a genius and a very nice guy. The fridge is working fine and he saved me 2500. Next time I do need appliance repair 1st choice will be where I call. |
