Rick Sasser | Terrible experience on a rental property. Had used the service prior about a year ago satisfactorily. Totally new experience and a very bad one. This company is now out to nickel and dime you to death. I told the lady who answered the phone exactly what was wrong with the stove and the parts needed to fix it on the call. They sent a "technician" out to "fix" it. Instead, he evaluated the problem and they called me three day's later with an estimate for repair to order parts. 106.75 for the initial evaluation, 75 for the return service call and 180.25 for parts...55 of which wasn't needed...total 362...all to fix a stove that can be bought brand new for 404 at Lowes. I told them to cancel the order. She wanted 106.75 immediately on a credit card over the phone for the initial visit. I told her to send me a bill and I'd discuss it with the owner. She said that would be an additional 15 service fee for the bill. I told her I wouldn't pay it. She said they would turn the claim over to a collection agency. Terrible business! Unreasonable demands! |
