The technicians and office staff at Avalanche Mechanical have been extremly helpful throughout our repair process. My system wasn't working one day after they had said they fixed it. When I called to let them know it still wasn't working they said they would be back out immediately to repair it again. Two days later I called them again and they said the tech reported he had fixed it again the day prior. I told them I waited at home as instructed for the tech and he never showed up. They then told me he had forgotten to come by but the owner's themselves Jerry & Lee would stop by that day. They never showed or called either. because my system was an older unit I asked them to just replace it with a new unit. I told them I wanted to pay cash, not even a check, and I wanted it done ASAP. They said OK and setup an apt for the following week on Tuesday. on Tuesday they never showed and when I called Karen in the office all she could do was apologize. She advised me to go someplace else and have the work; she felt they were going down hill fast and would not be able to do the job or stand behind the work if they ever even showed up. I talked to the owner 3 different times and he apologized and promised someone would be there immediately but they never showed. These folks suck. I used to consider Jerry the owner a friend but with friends like him who needs enemies? Stay away from this company. They won't show up when they have an apt, they lie and said they did work they didn't do, and the employees have the attitude of the owner, they don't care. You would be better off with anyone else.
