Beware doing business here! This used to be one of our favorite stops for antiquing but it has been awhile since we have been here. Recently we stopped by and it's definitely not the same as we remembered- there was very little inventory, not at all the quality we remembered. The lady at the counter was new but very nice, helpful and let us know the sale prices that went with each color tag. The one item my young son fell in love with had a 50 off tag. He was SO proud carrying his purchased item to the car! Sadly, he didn't make it to the car before a man the owner, I am assuming came charging across the yard wanting to know “what did you pay for that!” This guy acknowledged that it did have the 50 off tag but insisted that he “couldn't let it go for that” and demanded we either pay the full price or return it & get our money back. Seriously? My son was standing there with tears running down his face so we did the wrong thing and gave this guy the rest of the money instead of making a further scene. We SHOULD have kept walking to the car or just got our money back and bought it elsewhere. Sorry you were having a bad day but that's no excuse for bullying a child over your mistake. You got your extra 20 but we won't be back.
