marc miller | the problem is not local...the staff in the store and the techs are good...the problem is on the national level and 800 service/appt call line.. My endurance test with geek squad started in may, they were coming to reprogram a remote control. He did not have what he needed because he had incorrect information about the job, but he told me there might be a problem with my spectrum internet. I should get spectrum, first... I did, there was no problem. I rescheduled geek but apparently the scheduled visit for friday july 7th was cancelled internally without any call and no notation in their file as to who or why.i have appt. confirm in writing I called, they finally got someone to come on saturday, a very competent tech who advised me what to get and they would coordinate install for the following saturday. Geek squad seemingly has no information from or record of this visit, at all ..or the follow up install appointment...most of the people are nice, but do not have the ability to address their issues correctly. But, for an additional fee of 250 dollars, by categorizing it as an emergency , they could keep the appointment..i am now scheduled for mid september and onto my 6th day of taking off and innumerable hours on the phone..the problem is not a local issue, it is the national appt centers and their methodology of protocols, coding and tracking... |
