Appliance Repair by Land Appliance in Brooklyn, New York

First of all, I didn't choose land appliance. My landlord uses them for the appliances in our building. Our stove had been repaired a couple of times and it still didn't work so the building management finally agreed to replace the stove but only with a “refurbished“ stove. When the stove was delivered, the oven light didn't work the panel instruments didn't work and It was installed very wobbly. Additionally, like other reviews have noted, the stove was dirty. There was grime on the top panel on the handle and the part of the top was dented. I have no choice because my landlord uses this company. But, I did ask my manager building manager if I could buy my own stuff so that I have something from a reputable company that works. I also had the same customer service experience with the scheduling of their visit here.

This place is a joke. "Customer service" calls and berates you for not being home when they show up for an appointment they scheduled and didn't inform you about. They go out of their way to blame you for their errors. And when they finally do show up at an agreed upon date not agreed upon time though - you are expected to be home ALL DAY 9-5 and hope they actually show up at some point, they don't actually fix the problem and you have to repeat the entire rigmorale all over again. These are the times I wish 0 stars was an option.
