Susan C | I spent hours on the phone over a two week period trying to get the repair person to actually show up to look at my dishwasher and repair it. Most of the customer service people were very kind. I made the appointment and left work early and the repair person never showed. I called but the voice mailbox was full so I sent a text that I would be home. Still a no show! I called sears and was on hold for over an hour. They apologized and I set up another appointment for the following week. The day before I called to confirm as I didn't hear anything from the tech. I was told there was not an appointment but they said someone would call me within the hour. You guessed it no call! I called back and was on hold for over an hour and they said I would have to call back in the morning since that dept. was closed. I called back in the morning and was told there was no appointment, so again I set up an appointment for the next day. The tech didn't call by the early afternoon so I called him. Finally, I got a confirmation for the appt. He came and looked at it and said he had to order the part. He made an appointment for the following week without consulting me. He said to call to make sure the parts came in, but he never called me back when I called. I cancelled the appointment and rescheduled after being on hold for I don't remember how long. The day before I did not get a confirmation call so I call the tech 3 different times and no answer. I called sears and got no help from the person they connected me to. She totally ignored me and was speaking to other customer service reps while I could still here her. She finally muted her end and then came back after 15 minutes and said she couldn't reach the local tech. The next day I called the tech twice and got him the second time and finally confirmed the appointment and my dishwasher fixed. So very unprofessional. I really hope I don't have to deal with Sears for a while! This was not a good experience at all. |
Honey Walker | The communication with your service department is horrible!!!!! I called multiple time to schedule an appointment and was on hold for the "next available" person for over an hour each time. Not even to mention how many times after holding for over an hour i would be disconnected. When i finally spoke to someone i could not schedule an appointment because my parts had not yet arrived. I asked that they call me and not send emails because i rarely use my computer. When i did log into my computer there were over 15 emails and those emails all told me to call the number that kept me on hold forever. it was a fiasco from start to finish. the repair man had to turn off the power to effect repairs which gave him no light so we had to scramble for an extension cord so he would have light. the entire situation was a nightmare. I was without my oven for over a month and i was talked into a service contract which i will have to pay for the next year and i know i will never call sears again nor will i ever buy a sears product again because i do not want to deal with sears service |
Racin Ray | Truly the worst service I have ever received. For a refrigerator which is needed to keep medication cold to take over 3 weeks to get repaired still not repaired yet is the absolute worst of the worst. No wonder a once highly respected name/business in the appliance industry is closing it's doors. |
