Appliance Repair by Chuck’s Appliance Repair in Alamogordo, New Mexico

I wish we could give them less than 1 star. They charged a 75 "service call" up front. We did not know that to them a "service call" was in fact a "show up at your door" charge. There is a huge difference between "showing up at the door" and actually providing a service. ALL of the repair service was a separate labor charge - there was not a parts charge. So we paid two charges - a "show up at your door" charge PLUS a "labor to fix your appliance" charge. Oh, and they don't take credit cards, so we had to give them a check for the "show up at the door" aka fake "service call" charge before they would come out. Avoid these people and use ANYONE else in Alamogordo to fix your appliances. These folks think a service call is just a way for them to make an extra 75, in addition to the charges to fix your appliance.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Charged me a no show fee 38 which was never mentioned before hand. Scheduled a second appointment for 10AM technician showed up knocked than went to his truck. Got a call at 10:01 saying that I missed another appointment. Called and asked to speak with the manager she said she would call me back never did. So I called and asked to speak with the owner he said he wouldn't talk to me. My realty company chose this company which I definitely wouldn't have.

Very friendly and reliable. Fixed our fridge but had to drive two hours to get to us. I highly recommend this company
