Nicole | My husband and I bought a dryer from "Steve", Steve said the dryer worked but there was no way for us to plug it in, but we trusted his word, paid him & took the dryer home. My husband sets the dryer up & goes to plug it in but sees that there is no plug, no way for him to plug the dryer into the wall. Perplexed my husband called Steve to tell him this and Steve's reply was, "I thought you knew that", no, no my husband and I assumed the electric dryer we just purchased had a cord. Steve's advice was for my husband, who's not an electrician by the way, to switch the plug from our old dryer to the one we purchased from Steve. So he does this and the dryer did turn on but would not get hot..listen this story goes on & unfortunately on..3 weeks we have taken time off from work because Steve said, gave his word, that he was going to come to our house to rectify this situation, instead of keeping his word, he just never showed up , multiple times, no phone call, no texts, nothing. So 3 weeks ago this fiasco started my husband finally gets fet up, just brings the dryer back for a refund where Steve decides to handle this by saying that we have done something to the dryer! When hours after purchase we texted and called him letting him know of all the problems and he accuses us of wrongdoing. He also threatened to "rip my husband's head off" if he didnt get out of the store. No refund threats & no dryer! We've reported him to The Better Buisness Bureau & are awaiting investigation. Go SOMEWHERE ELSE! |
