Appliance Repair by Hartman’s Independent Appliance in Bloomingdale, New Jersey

I wish I had read the previous review before hiring these people. I had to select one start to post this but they don't deserve even that. We made an appointment for 11:00 when they didn't show up by 12:30, we called and they said they were on their way. By 4:00, we called and cancelled. Then they showed up at 4:30. Our dryer is very old so we asked the tech if it is worth fixing and he stated the part was only 75.00. They didn't have the part needed to fix our dryer so they said they would be out the next morning. They showed up in the afternoon, fixed it and then charged us over 300.00! Very unprofessional from beginning to the end, with not calling, not telling us the full cost and on top of that, asked to use our bathroom.

At any business you are running, if you are not or don't think you are capable of make it work, I advise you to not take the challenge. I have asked them to come to my house to repair my Bosch Washer machine. I have also advised them the model and the issue with the Washer. they showed up, not only late, but 2 1/2 hours later. when they finally showed up, the Tech sat down in front of the washer for 20 minutes, his assistant added 1 1/2 second of Nitrogen thru the Water Pump and he concluded that the Water pump on my washer was great and charged me 203.25. He stated it might be a computer problem for which he advised me to unplug the Washer and leave it unplugged for 30 mins. After done so, the machine is still giving the error. I called them back, didn't pick. After a few attempts, they picked up and the assistant told me those were not the brands of washer they served and they have to do some research. Does this sound fair to you? Being charged 203.25 for absolutely NOTHING!! Do not even try to hire these people? so much praising on 27 years Experience ripping off people like that
