Robert Vodra | Went in looking for a lawn tractor this fall, they had one on clearance, they were assembling it that day so I bought it and they even gave me free delivery. They seemed surprised my name was not in their computer, and I explained that I had never bought much from them, typically used a local shop or another well known home improvement store. It was delivered, added gas, and it would not start. I looked into what it maybe and found a missing vacuum hose to the fuel pump. I called and they could not repair it, could not get me the part for me to try. It was brand new I didn't want to spend a lot of time and money trying to fix it the manufacturer suggested I bring it to a repair shop or return for refund. Since the store nor the manufacturer were willing to give me a little 4 inch hose 8-10? to try, I asked them to come and pick it up. A week later the first pick up driver arrived and could not take it because it was not on a pallet. Few days later two guys showed up, put it back on the pallet, and strapped it down, in the middle of my driveway. I showed them what was wrong and they also felt it was crazy for Home Depot not to give me the piece and see if it fixed it, one of those guys could have stuck it on, or I could have. Finally, after several more calls thing was strapped to a pallet in the middle of my driveway, snow was forecast they were able to pick it up. About 3 weeks between purchase and getting money back on my credit card. They had a new customer, but poor customer service lost it. Guy in Lawn and Garden was very good, but went down hill as soon as they charged my credit card. |
Mychel Elderd | It's Home Depot. You have some good employees that know their stuff, then some that couldn't tell the difference between a stud finder and a laser level. Unfortunately, every time I go into this particular Home Depot, the staff acts like my being there is the most inconvenient thing they have encountered their entire lives. They help, but they act like you are wasting their time. Pros desk is the worst when it comes to this attitude problem. I am glad the desk is by the door. 9 times out of ten, talking to one of these guys will make you want to walk out. Other than the arrogant staff who barely understand 30 of what they talk about, it is a great store, so long as you don't need assistance. |
Billy Bob | Home Depot. Pretty much everything you'd expect. Took the star off only because the only employee to offer help finding what I needed was off by 2 aisles. Benzomatic canisters are in aisle 11 not aisle 9. |
