Appliance Repair by Home Services at The Home Depot in Grand Island, Nebraska

My wife and I have been in the market for kitchen cabinets and i was enticed to visit Home Depot in Grand Island, NE because of a 0 financing offer i received in the mail. We drove 45 miles to this location specifically to shop cabinetry and get quotes as we have our desired kitchen remodel already drawn out to scale. When we arrived at 11 am on a Saturday we browsed the cabinets a few minutes, and then approached the young woman at the counter with our request. She was friendly and said "I don't know how to do that, but let me call someone who does." We continued to browse as she called and i could hear her explaining our request to the person on the other end. A few minutes later she came up to us with an 800 number saying they can't give quotes and I would need to call the design center. I explained to her that we already have our kitchen layout put together and dimensioned. We just need someone to show us whats available so we can pick out what we want and get some numbers. There was nothing she could do apparently. I find it shocking that no one was available to show and sell cabinetry to a customer mid day on a Saturday! I actually believe that no one wanted to go through the hassle of showing us the product and quoting our kitchen so the just put us off. THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE HOME DEPOT GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA! I was ready to begin the process of spending in excess of 10,000 at your store that day. But you turned me away and i went across the street to MENARDS. They were happy to sit down with me and give me a quote in 45 minutes. This is the customer service I expect on an investment of this size! Avoid this store customers! Apparently the people wearing the orange smocks are just there to keep the seats warm and not sell product!

don't ever buy carpet through them. purchased in April, it's now July. still waiting for install. no show. no calls. furious.
