| jackie olson | So I just wanna say, Rick is the salt of the earth kinda guy! My husband recently decided it would be a good idea to buy a motorhome, sight unseen, off the internet in Savannah GA. We flew there with the intention of picking it up and driving it all the way home to Utah in the middle of December. Probably not the best decision we have made. To make a long story short, motorhome didn't run, spent three days stuck in Savannah before we finally started out for home. Winter storm Finley, stuck in Missouri, blew a tire in Nebraska. This is where Rick and Rudy's comes in. Flying J couldn't help us and sent us to Rudy's. Rick greeted us with warmth and then delivered the bad news..... They didn't have the size tire we needed. By this time I'm having a nervous breakdown. I'm bawling in a very unladylike fashion. Rick tells us he can get us a tire but it'll probably take till noon next day. He sends us to the only hotel and even gets us a discount. The next morning we bring the rattletrap back to Rudy's and Rick becomes concerned that the tire has been delivered to the wrong place! He gets on the phone and stays on until he tracks down this tire. Tire was delivered within half an hour and Rick had us back on the road before noon. Didn't overcharge us. We were at his mercy and he could have taken advantage of us, but didn't. Some of the nicest people I have ever met have been in Nebraska. I was not at all surprised to see all of the great reviews for this company. Great people doing great things for other people! |
