| Ryan MacKenzie | While traveling from Canada a hub bearing seized so we had vehicle towed to Emmett's because they were the only place nearby. They replaced the bearing and sold us the wrong sized tires for the vehicle. Told us the ABS warning light would go away after driving for a bit but told us that the vehicle was good to go. After driving a few hundred more miles the rear tires were completely bald. Took it to a Mechanic in Montana and they said, "The bearing was replaced backwards so that's why your ABS isn't working. Your rear alignment is off by 2 degrees which is why your tires are destroyed. Also, it looks like they ripped your CV boot while replacing the bearing. We're sorry about this, not all mechanics in the United States are here to rip you off." Including photos of the damaged rear tires that and the statement from the new mechanic place as proof. You're better off towing your vehicle to the city as this small town mechanic is only there to rip you off and send you on your way knowing that you're only traveling through. They don't care that their shoddy repairs could cause someone to have an accident. |
