| KURTIS STIERN | I am the owner of this business, I did my best to coach Brenda Jo, Who I do not know, how to tell if her washing machine was repairable or not over the phone.However she was unable to comply with what I asked her to do, so she had me come out. What I tried to tell her over the phone,which I do with all of my customers, is if the machine needs to be replaced I would rather tell them over the phone then charge them a service call to come and look at it. I do not like to charge people to tell them their machine is in need of replacement, however once I make a trip,I must charge as it is my business. I have informed many people over the phone by asking them to do certain simple things when it sounds like their machine is beyond repair. I will gladly do the same for you. |
| Brenda Jo | I'm single, taking care of an elderly parent and things are tight, not asking for special favors but wow...I was shocked. In less than 2 minutes I was told, drum is no good, you'll need to buy a new washer...at a cost of 80. I'm back in MO after being gone for 19 years and always told folks MO people are good people but not feeling that today. In AR I had my toilet tank leaking, the guy came out, told me it had a hairline crack, told me he could fix it and what the cost would be, or I could do it myself and he told me how, which I did. He charged me 20 for his fuel to come out to my house. 80 is unbelievable for a service call to me, but for 2 minutes. IF I ever need appliance repair I will call someone else that I grant ya!!! |
