Rochelle DeLucia | The service person was courteous and professional however, his diagnosis was incorrect. All my washing machine needed was a 3 part and he tried to tell me I needed 507.00 worth of work done. I believe Sears is more interested in selling their "warranty" to get a year long commitment of 50 a month than they are in trying to fix what you actually called them out for. It's really no surprise they are closing locations all over the country. How very sad. They had the entire nation shopping there at one point and it looks like the end could be on the horizon. |
Kathy Hess | The repairman was fine. It cost 99 for him to come out and "diagnose" it. I already diagnosed it and told him what it was. He agreed. Then he worked for 15 minutes and charged 140 for labor!!! He probably got 15. The part was 30. So for a 30 easy fix, it cost us 270! Totally a ripoff and we will not be calling you again for repairs. I should get the 50 for diagnosing it myself! |
09231949 . | The two men that came out were very knowledgeable and very pleasant. The Service Manager in Springfield was very easy to work with. The salesman and his supervisor at Sears were the same. Thanks to the non English speaking idiots at the 800 number it took three weeks before my repair parts came. Good thing they are shutting Sears down. I'm 70 and have bought appliances there for years. Never again. |
