This time, we had a small repair to deal with. We have a heavy, solid oak front storm door and the screws holding the bottom hinge broke leaving pieces within the hinge's screw holes. We found the door had been secured with undersized brass screws. Woody repositioned the hinge using stronger and longer galvanized exterior screws. The door works perfectly now. |
