Appliance Repair by Al’s Rapid Rooter Sewer & Drain in Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Called the guy one evening, he asks what time the next day, I say as soon as you can get here, thinking some time in the morning. He calls me about 3:30, and shows up about 4. He slams into my retaining wall next to my driveway, knocking all the block loose. Should have told him right there to leave, but I had a blocked sewer line, and was at his mercy. He gets out, asks where my restroom was at, I tell him thinking it had something to do with the job, and he says ok, I'm going to use it. Dumbfounded that he would ask, I don't say anything. He comes out, and gives me the sorry speech, about him being old and needing help to get the machine out of the van. So second mistake of mine. So I help get it out of the van, and down my steps to my basement. He sees my workout stuff, and asks if I work out, and begins to tell me how he spent the whole morning working out-instead of being on the job. Finally gets going, then the machine breaks. A time later he gets it going. Pulls out a little bit of tree roots, and says he got it all, and he's done. I have to help him get it up the stairs and loaded back in the van, and he still has the audacity to charge me full price. Come to find out later that evening, my sewer was still clogged. I didn't want to deal with this guy again, knowing he was a shady slumlord type, so I called the Roto Rooter guy to come out the next day and do a competent job. Will never call this guy again.
