Never came to fix the issue... never could get them to call me back... went with a different company

I called Walker Electric after the heat suddenly went out in my home. Stephen and JP showed up first thing in the morning and in about 12 minutes had diagnosed the problem a broken CO exhaust motor. They picked up a new motor from the office and after installing and testing the heating system they were out the door in about half an hour flat. I liked their responsiveness and I certainly appreciated their expertise. Most of all, they were patient in explaining what was wrong, and they went through the trouble of installing a new furnace filter before leaving. I have called Walker Electric for AC and heating work several times over 15 years of living in Oxford, and I've always been impressed by their knowledgeable and respectful service team.

I have had a long running account with Walker Electric and have always had superior service. My first unit was installed back in 2006. We have an older home and the distribution system was restricted because of the configuration of the home and so Jeff at Walker came up with a creative solution and as part of the fix he replaced under-sized duct work for free. I have a maintenance plan with Walker and they are proactive in making sure the units are serviced. Problem I have had under warranty are always attended to in a timely manner. There on-site service representatives are always knowledgable and courteous. Their are several comments on this site relating to cost of service. There is nothing cheap about HVAC syatems or the time and effort it takes to remedy problems that crop up with older units. To those folks who complain I would say: do yourself a favor and get a maintenance contract and budget for the future rather than complain about not getting expedited service when something breaks.
