Ayla Smith | Our dryer broke & after days of waiting for Whirlpool to send out a tech via Appliance Tech, I started calling around to places in the area. Many don't serve houses on military bases, but this does! The lady I called was incredibly nice & reassuring, even though my mood wasn't her fault. I called in the afternoon & they were able to schedule someone to come the next morning. She gave me pricing info too! It's an 89 service fee, plus tax, so 95.23 for someone to come out & diagnose the problem. If we agree to have them fix it, they apply that amount towards our total bill essentially waiving the service fee. They always give you a quote & get your permission before doing any repairs. They also text you a picture of what your technician will look like! Our tech, Gavin, called 15 minutes before they even opened to speak with me. By then the original Whirlpool tech had finally come out & diagnosed our problem. I cancelled our service call with Mr. Appliance & asked Gavin to give us a quote on the part. Unfortunately the part is no longer made, only similar potentially compatible parts, so there wasn't anything they could do. I'm still so happy I called them though! I will definitely use them in the future, hands down!! |
