Betsy Bruvold | Our dishwasher was not working, so I contacted Twin Cities Appliance Service Center to repair the machine. Jerry assessed the problem and said we needed a new dishwasher motor. I bit the bullet and wrote a check to Twin Cities Appliance Service Center for 424. to have a new dishwasher motor installed. It seemed like a lot of money, but I thought it would be worth it, if the repair was done in a quality manner. Jerry installed the new dishwasher motor and reassured me that the problem was fixed. Jerry said he tested it and the dishwasher was repaired and was working fine. Unfortunately, Jerry did not take the necessary time to make sure the seal was done correctly before running the dishwasher to test out his repair. My husband said that making sure there is a good seal is a basic problem to address when connecting pipes. Jerry left our house and gave me verbal reassurance that the problem was solved. Then, a few minutes after Jerry left our house, we noticed extensive water had leaked through to our basement, causing damage to stored wood and inconvenience of water cleanup. We contacted Jerry and he came back and fixed it, but offered no apology or clear explanation. All is said was that he "had to remove some gunk." Jerry caused leaking in our basement and we were lucky there was no ceiling in our basement to be destroyed. I hope we do not need to use Twin Cities Appliance Service Center in the future. |
