Kim Harris | If possible to offer less than 1 Star we would. All we needed was a simple seasonal check of our A/C. Took off work - they couldn't come because it was supposed to rain. Took off work again - claimed they came to the door...a lie that may have worked if I wasn't sitting next to the door with our giant dog that never barked, take off work AGAIN...oh we thought the appt was 11:30, not 3:30. WTF? I'm assuming the owner is rolling in cash since they don't need to service what they sell or provide the small amount of customer service. We will be looking for a company that actually values our business. |
Kenneth Chen | My family business was in need of A/C repair. We narrowed it down to the unit not having coolant. I gave Burkett HVAC-R Service a call since that was the only number my family had in their contacts for A/C needs. Receptionist on the phone was nice, and was able to schedule me an appointment last Friday @3pm. Technician never showed up, I contacted their office 45 minutes after the scheduled time to see if the tech was behind schedule. Receptionist did say they were on a job, but the technician goes to all of the appointments set for that day. No one showed up... No phone call... Nothing. I called again on Monday to see what happened, really just wanting to reschedule. The receptionist told me that they would call me back to reschedule me. No call. Called again today only to hear...they don't service new customers. We haven't had our unit serviced by Burkett since 2014. We were not new customers. Receptionist did mention that there was miscommunication on her end otherwise she would not have set up an appointment. Apparently being a customer in 2014 counts as being a new customer in 2019. Sorry we didnt know that we should have routine checks on our unit, but this was a terrific waste of time. |
Michael Mead | Burkett installed my heating/cooling system in 2001. They have faithfully repaired it annually since then. Is that a good thing? However, this year the auxiliary heat quit working. They said they would come on Tuesday. They did not, so my wife called. They came on Wednesday. They did not have the part needed and promised to come back tomorrow. It is now the following Monday and we have no report from them. We are approaching 2 weeks of burning a propane grill for heat. |
