However, I took my car there to get an estimate done and, after finding out that it was more than double than another shop in town, I told them I would come pick it up. Got there and found out that it was just under 50 for the estimate! I have never been charged for an estimate anywhere else in town and was not notified of this in advance. While I do know that it is not uncommon I must just have gotten lucky before, 50 seems excessive and came as quite a surprise since I knew nothing of it in advance. |
