| Alen Hermiz | I called them to repair the ice maker on my refrigerator several months ago. The technician explained the fees and hourly rates, and fixed it. Everything worked well after he finished, but he said that he didn't want to invoice me because he wanted to follow-up with Sub-Zero to see if anything could be covered by a warranty. This seemed strange, but didn't really think much of it. A couple of months later I received the bill in the mail with a late fee. I called AFS to ask why. They said that I should have paid upon completion of service. I told them that I tried to pay upon completion, but the tech wouldn't invoice me. She explained to me that I knew the rates, so I should have been able to calculate the bill and pay it even without an invoice. This was unbelievable to me. Looking back now it seems very much like a scam. |
