That other guy gave me a song and dance about how my wonderful old Electrolux couldn't possibly be repaired -- but hey guess what!, he'd be glad to sell me a brand new vacuum cleaner, for several hundred dollars. So I ran out the door, went to the Web, and found The Vacuum Doctor. He told me over the phone that of course old Electroluxes can still be repaired, and he suggested that I bring in my machine for a free yes, free estimate. I jumped in the car and drove to his shop. Are you ready for this? He spent all of five minutes with my machine, found what was wrong, fixed it on the spot -- and then refused to take a penny from me. I pleaded with him to let me give him a hundred dollars. I told him that what he had done was easily worth that much to me. He wouldn't hear of it. Not a penny. GO TO THIS MAN. Give him all the business you can. He's one of a kind. |
