Rachier B | As a PM of rental properties I found Sears do not have a reliable invoicing system that allows an off site manager insight to what repairs are needed and why they're recommending any such repair. All I get is a generic payment receipt that's says nothing. Bottom line unless you approve the repair on the spot you will not get a written up of their estimated charges to repair the unit. |
Ricardo Sutardjo | I paid for the 5 year Sears Extended warranty plan and I have had two repairs done on my tractor, one for a pulley and the latest for a slipping drive belt. I made a quick and easy appointment. The warranty is well worth the price, The tech came to my house and fixed my tractor in no time . Very prompt and courteous service. THANX |
Ed Barnett | The Service Tech sent to do the work did just fine. The problem was the discussion I had with the 800 number I called prior to arranging the service visit. I called to inquire as to what service was going to be performed and I was told that the service would include belt adjustment and extensive lubrication. In reality, there are two grease fittings which were greased and several places where WD40 was applied. My snow blower has chains and no belts. The 800 number apparently does not have any insight other than the script they were reading from into the details of the service. The Service Tech never called me prior to arriving as I had requested and that would have given me the opportunity to ask him about the service. Overall I would not have had this service performed if I had understood the limited lubrication performed with this service. |
