| Neil Ashton | Dropped off shoes to have heels put on. They said they would be ready in 8 weeks. If they met that date, I planned to add a star. But as I write.this update, they are 3 weeks overdue, so I took away a star. I have taken shoes in before and they are never ready early or even on time. But they also want to be paid when they haven't done anything yet. When you're the only one for miles around, you get to make the rules, I guess. The place does good work but it's really abusive and rude to customers to make a promise they have no intention of meeting. The original Yankee Cobbler that was destroyed by fire had your shoes done in a few days and the prices were much more reasonable. Anyone know of a better place somewhere within 50 or 100 miles? |
| Lily Dean | I had a nice watch with a leather band that broke and I could not find the right replacement for it anywhere. I decided to take it to Yankee Cobbler and see if one could be made. Today I got the new band and it is great! The workmanship is fantastic and the new band looks so similar to the original. I am so pleased and would definitely recommend their services to anyone. They are so pleasant and helpful. |
