Nancy Kierstead | Ummm... To be truthful I didn't go in the store, I was just driving by. But it was such a pretty building I had to stop and take a picture of it, lol! This whole area in Central Maine is very pretty! |
Janet Grard | The two times I have been here in the last few years have both been unpleasant. The first time my daughter was sitting on a children's rocking bear that I was going to buy and the woman barked at her not to sit on the bear. I couldn't understand how you wold buy a rocking bear without trying it. Isn't that what it is made for? Sitting on it and rocking? Scared my daughter. The second time she approached me and told me “don't take any pictures.” I had taken a picture of the beautiful flowers out front and had my phone in my hand. I had a loon mug I was planning on buying even though it was 15. I asked why and she said “I don't want you to” in a very curt tone. I told her I wasn't. I was curious why in this day and age you wouldn't encourage pictures and the social media exposure. I remarked how this was the second time I had experienced an unpleasant visit and how unfortunate it was since this was a beautiful store. I do think the prices are high and I am wondering if that rocking bear is the same one I almost bought several years ago. I'll pass on by next visit. |
