Appliance Repair by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Monroe, Louisiana

My dad & I went to Lowe's on November 7, 2019 and bought a washing machine. We discussed with the guy we needed it delivered & he double checked with his supervisor if it could be delivered on Monday. Supervisor said that would be fine & they would call before delivering. On Monday, no calls from Lowe's. My dad and then my mother finally called Lowe's and told them it would be Thursday. Here it is Thursday. Lowe's called this morning and said they would be there between 10 & 3. Here it is 3:00. My dad calls Lowe's back and now they say between 3:00 & 6:00. WE WILL NEVER BUY ANY MORE APPLIANCES AT LOWE'S OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER. OUR DAYS OF SHOPPING AT LOWE'S IS OVER!!!!!!! THIS COULD ALL HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY HAD JUST DELIVERED THE WASHING MACHINE AS SCHEDULED!!

Tools, home improvement supplies, and did I mention tools? What's not to love? And their staff has always been pretty good. Not rude or lazy in the least. Always seems to be willing to help u when asked and if they seem to be good at telling when your unable to find what your after because usually about the time I start looking for someone to ask for help, they have already approached me to see if I need any!

I had a water heater that went out under warranty. When I went to customer service with the original receipt along with the Warranty Return Order, I was told that “I” had to bring it inside. When I asked for help bringing it in, I was told that the only person that could lift anything of weight, had 30 minutes left on their break. After that, they'd be happy to help me. I managed the task on my own. After the tank was inside, everything went as it should. I know that this is a good store with quality products. I pray that this isn't the “norm” for customer service!
