| Pat Patrick | Called them for repair on a washer. They came out and checked it out and said it was the ccu board. I asked them if they were 100 sure that would fix it. They said yes. I asked about the price of the board. They said the last one they bought was over 200. I was going to buy a new washer instead of repairing this one. So I paid the 65 service call and they left. The next day I had some time and got on YouTube. The fault my washer had was very common. Within 20 minutes I fixed the problem myself. It didn't need any parts at all. Just had to adjust a part. I don't mind paying a professional to fix something. But it seems that their repairmen are limited and when you call B and W back, they simply say that those guys work for themselves. Well that wasn't what was stated in the original call. When I asked if they worked on washers, the man that answered said yes. He didn't say ,” We don't but I know someone that does”. They may be ok to purchase from, but I want service afterwards. |
