After a almost 16 hour drive from Michigan to New Mexico, we were stranded in Kansas after the trans going in our vehicle. Not only did he take a look and let us know what he thought the problem was, they opened their home to us for dinner, hot showers and a place to sleep since we were 1200 miles from home. When we awoke, they allowed us to hang around while we weighed our options, and after figuring out our plan, his mother gave us a ride to the Garden City Enterprise to rent a car and allowed us to store our vehicle at his shop until we can get someone to pick it up. These people deserve the world, and my wife and I will never forget the absolute hospitality we were shown by their whole family. |
