Took my tv there for repair after I made the mistake of having Don's tv/Maximum Sight and Sound in Cedar Falls/Waterloo try to repair it after my tv unexpectedly went out and I got poor customer service from there and they told me it was the screen and they couldn't get it to work and was told they tried replacing everything but the screen after first saying it was the backlight. I didn't think it was the screen since the screen was still coming on before it left my house. Took it Fish after talking to them and they didn't think it was the screen either. It was that some of the backlights had gone out which they were able to replace but they saw someone had done damaged and broken parts on the mainboard Maximum. John from Fish repaired what was broken on the mainboard and got the tv briefly working again but it still needed a new board due to damage by the other place and there isn't a replacement board available anymore for that tv. It wasn't the screen. Had good service and the cost was reasonable from Fish and would use them again if needed. |
