| Jill Cook | The repairman came to my home at 4:45 he was scheduled between 8 and 5 p.m. first of all, who can sit home that long waiting for the repair person to come. Then he argued with me that the refrigerator I needed to have repaired was not the correct refrigerator that was listed on our protection plan. The serial number was correct but the model number was incorrect. That was an error on Sears part. Someone had incorrectly typed the model number. Instead of trying to rectify this error, he kept accusing me of having another refrigerator and that this one was not the one that he was to work on. It has been worked on several times as part of my protection plan. This was the first time that it was questioned. I was very upset with the way he was accusing me of trying to do something wrong. Finally he contacted someone at Sears and they discovered their error. Then, as he was repairing the ice maker, he was swearing. This was the most unprofessional service call we have ever had in 30 years of being Sears customers. |
