Appliance Repair by Ken’s Appliance & Services in Ames, Iowa

I have a Maytag commercial dryer which is less than 2 years old. It wasn't drying the clothes so I called Ken's. They came out right awaythat was appreciated, complained about my small laundry room, said they'd been here before they hadn't, then told me the control panel was shot and I just as well buy a new dryer. They billed me 99 and left. Less than 30 minutes later, their office called and said they have the same dryer and would sell it to me. I declined, wasn't sure I wanted another Maytag, they told me I just bought a bad one and it was a fluke. Was a hard no on the sale for me. Today, we had a serviceman from Crise appliance come over and replace the heating element in less than 15 minutes, billed us 240, said the control panel works fine as of now, thanked us and left. Something is amiss.

Google search gave me information about this store, they are very kind and helpful , I fixed my mixer under 100 and they have most the parts for appliance, I got the right part and fix the dryer too.

My Whirlpool washing machine gave a fail code, and I did some research and some checking, and found the motor drive control circuit card had failed. No luck with finding a new part, but Ken helped me out. He had a serviceable part removed from a similar washer, and that got me going again the same day for at least 1/2 the price of a new part! I appreciated the fact he reviewed a few things to check for, to ensure there may not be another problem. This shop is truly Iowa nice!
