Appliance Repair by Nasons Appliances in Crown Point, Indiana

Purchased washer and dryer from Nasons Appliances. Their prices are competitive, if not less. I appreciate the personal touch of a locally owned store rather than big box store. The appliances were delivered and installed in a timely manner-- very much appreciated. The gentlemen who delivered and installed the appliances were very professional.

Hopefully this is a fluke, but I scheduled a repair visit for between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm today. No one came or called to say they were running late. I called the business at 5:10 pm and was told the service department had closed at 4:00 pm, so no one was able to tell me when the repairman would be here. I called at 5:50 pm to cancel, as I've been waiting for almost 3 hours. No apologyjust, “Okay, we'll cancel.” I'm a patient person and understand when folks are running late, but basic courtesy entails calling to say you're late and when you will be showing up. Bummer. The other reviews made it look like a business I would have liked to get to know.

Local appliance store. Great prices and services. You all know I believe in shopping local. Sell so many brands. I am so glad I went there. I wanted a Speed Queen washer and they sell them.
