Dee Dee Benjamin | The worst experience ever. My fridge broke on January 3rd. Sears was contacted to do the diagnosis and it took them 7 days to even come to look at the fridge. They told me i had a bad compressor. I was told the compressor was under warranty and the technician wasn't aware that he could've ordered the compressor and sears would not have been charged. I found this information out after i called the manufacturer after the technician left. I called sears back and asked them to order the part and they told me i have to schedule ANOTHER appt just for a tech to come to my home and order the part. They said a tech has to physically be in my home to order parts; this was absolutely absurd to me since their tech had just left. So they made me wait another 10 days for a tech to come out just to order the part then i had to wait another 7 days for the tech to come back to install it. So I did not have a working fridge for 24 days. I have an 11 month old son and this was a HUGE inconvenience. I'm very unhappy with my experience with Sears. |
