Appliance Repair by Affordable Appliance in Illiopolis, Illinois

I live in Illiopolis, so whenever possible, I try to support the local businesses which is hard being that there are only a few that provide to my needs, the gas station and the auto garage. Affordable Appliance was a pleasant surprise, and briefed me throughout the entire process with my furnace troubles. Support local!

I had a broken washing machine. He nicely agreed to stop on his way home tonight to check it between 6 and 7. I waited. He did not show. I called the washing machine manufacturer who gave me his name and they called him after 8 pm. He told them to have us call him during business hours tomorrow. He then called me 5 minutes later verifying my address and asked why I had called LG because he does not work for them. I explained he had said he would be there by 7. He raised his voice and said he told me it would be 8 pm then said “do you want me to come to your house or not?” Very rude which is disappointing considering he was nice enough to offer to come tonight to help us out. Needless to say I did not allow him to service our washing machine. I choose to stay away from negativity and lack of follow through
