Appliance Repair by Automatic Appliance Parts in Downers Grove, Illinois

My wife came in to buy parts for my washing machine. We decided to go another direction and buy a new washer and return the parts. When I brought the parts back the manager of the store said that he won't return them. He said he explained to my wife that the parts weren't returnable. She says she doesn't recall that conversation. No where on the receipt does it say that these parts aren't returnable. The receipt does say there may be a restock charge. It seems to me a smarter move would be to return the item and charge me a restock fee. He can then sell the parts again and he made 20 for nothing. The boxes were never opened so the items are brand new. He would have made at least 20 which would've been about 40 and would not have lost me as a customer. Instead I'm writing this review and this is the last time we do business with Automatic Appliance Parts.

Excellent Customer Service. He went above and beyond to help me and make sure I had everything I needed. I didn't get the employees name but he was very knowledgeable. Defiantly recommend.
