Tiffany Rhodes | Here is my honest review... We had been having some problems with our furnace for a few weeks. It would try to fire up, would rev and then click off. It would do this repeatedly for about ten minutes and then finally start up and blow warm air. We called Doug's repair and they sent a technician the next day. The technician was polite and seemed knowledgeable. He worked on it for about twenty minutes and cleaned some things but didn't replace any parts. In the end, he left and said it was fixed and I paid 100 for his time. Later that day, we could already tell it was not resolved. It continued to do the clicking noise and take now over twenty minutes to fire up. We called Doug's Repair back. They sent the technician again and this time he spent about an hour going through more things with the furnace. In the end, he did end up replacing a part that he apparently didn't think was a problem the first time. We had to pay a full service fee again of 100 and then also for the part which was about 25. I'm a little upset that we had to pay the first 100 with nothing really being accomplished. In total we paid 225. I feel like one of the 100 fees should've been waived. Hopefully the furnace is working from this point on. We will see. That being said, the technician was a nice guy and all. I just wish we hadn't had to pay twice for it. That seems pretty unfair to me. |
Maureen Birkinbine | Jason is very knowledgeable and gets right down to business. Great personality and work ethic. Removed my old furnace and replaced a new one all in one day. Left area clean. Very reasonable price considering quotes we got from 2 other big name businesses in our area. We will definitely call Doug's for service in the future. |
