Appliance Repair by Clarke Appliances Sales & Service in Vidalia, Georgia

Not recommended for service and repairs. They charge an arm and a leg just to diagnose the problem, and it can take days to get a technician out. I called on a Wednesday with an urgent washer dilemma. They didn't call back to make an appointment until Friday, and the appointment wouldn't have been until Monday. I suspect that the washer being a Kenmore and therefore not purchased at Clarke likely slowed their response time. Which is a shame because with Sears circling the proverbial drain, this is an opportunity for local repair shops to pick up the slack and make nice with folks who've been left high and dry by Sears.

I went in because I needed a new heating element for my dryer. At first they said they would have to order the part and it would be in the next day. No problem because I was figuring on that. The lady helping me then found that they actually had the part there at the store. Even better! The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were helpful. Checked to see what i needed for my drier to work. They didnt have the part so it was ordered it for me. Very nice an clean.
