| P. Perry | The gentleman who came for the service call came same-day, was on time, and was highly friendly and courteous. However, I described my problem and he told me that there is nothing wrong with my refrigerator. We've had this appliance in the house for 2 years and we know how it sounds when it's running normally, and we know how it's supposed to work. There is very obviously something wrong with it. Freezer and refrigerator temperatures are fluctuating wildly. The thermostat re-set mechanism won't work. And, it is running loud and constantly trying to compensate for what is obviously not working. I just believe he wasn't familiar with this GE refrigerator and didn't want to try to determine the problem. 35 is a very reasonable service call charge, but not when you get nothing for it. |
