Only reason my husband called was because I had just had surgery and our warranty service was going to take a few days to come out, mid August. So a technician came out, found the problem but wouldn't warrant a 900+ repair. Said better just to replace our 12yo unit. So we asked for 2 quotes, 1 install and 1 install moving the air handler out of the rafters. Following day my husband gets an email that they can do neither. The job is too big. Sorry call this other company. So our 100 was just gone, no repair, no replacement. Young kid from Sears home warranty fixed it without much problem, replaced a copper tube. |
