| Robert rogozienski | Called another a/c company out to my home and they stated it was the coil that was leaking but never removed panels for air handler inside unit to see and test. They removed only a small panel where the Freon is charged on the outside unit and there was no leaks and assumed it was the coil but never pulled the panel off the top to see the compressor was leaking . They stated it would cost 1900.00 to fix and did I want to order the coil. I said no and got a second opinion from Expert Repairs air conditioning & refrigeration. They came to my home and pulled all the panels away from the air handler that holds the coil and did not see any leaks . He then went to the outside unit that hold the compressor and he showed me the compressor and it was leaking and Deteriorated, this unit was 18 years old . The man gave several option to fix it and the best option for me was to replace entire system for almost the same price as the other company wanted to charge for the coil which wasn't bad . Now have a a brand new unit with 10 year warranty. Win win |
