John Gray | Tried Best Buy's order online, pick up in store. The website said the item would be available in 1 hour. I arrived at the store after 2 hours. The cashier could not find the item. She asked if I received a notice that the item was ready for pick up. I said I didn't one as the website advised the item would be available in 1 hour from completing the order. She said that is not always the case. I got the impression that she was going to leave it at that and that I should wait for the confirmation notice. I asked firmly what do we now? She chased down a floor guy. In about 5 minutes a possible manager appeared and apologized that their inventory was in error and that they did not have the item. He said they would have to order more inventory to fill my order. I said no, just cancel the order which he did. I went home and ordered a similar item on Amazon. |
Teddy Burr | Our trip to Best Buy was a bit above average. This is the time when Covid was starting to start people to become a bit panicked. We had to get there to pick up an item ordered online before it was sent back. It was about 8:30 p.m. and the store closes at 9, taking all of this into consideration - ALL of the employees we ran into were Extremely Kind and Helpful. We also wanted to buy an external video card and speaker's but they didn't have it due to the shortage of deliveries. I absolutely will come back when things get better. Kindness goes a long way in a crisis. |
