MICHELLE MAXWELL | First and foremost, this review does not involve the local contractor I dealt with during this repair. The Certified Appliance people were excellent, professional and timely. With that stated, I have purchased every single appliance for both my homes exclusively at Sears. Each and every one of those appliances have an extended Sears warranty on them. This was the first time i have ever had to use the warranty services. It will also be the last time. It took THREE WEEKS for my refrigerator to be fixed. I totaled my calls to your service center. I was on the phone with your customer service center including horrible wait times, repeated calls, incompetent service providers and rude, unprofessional, untrained operators for a grand total of 9.37 hours. None- i repeat- not one single issue i called about was ever resolved to any degree of satisfaction. Ever. Not one. I urge you to listen to the calls. They are an excellent example on how to lose a customer for life. I purchased my appliances from Sears because of the value and the service promised under those agreements. Any and all "value" i received from purchasing from your store was clearly eradicated by the service agreement but i didn't care because repair of the appliance was more important to me than saving money. Clearly, I now know firsthand that the service agreement is not worth the paper it is printed on. I have canceled my Sears Credit card and not only will I never return to the store but i will make sure every single person I know never makes the same mistake. Disgusting. |
