Rick Aponte | I purchased a Samsung top freezer stainless steel refrigerator along with a 3-year extended warranty last December from Best Buy. The refrigerator stopped cooling so I called Best Buy and they made an appointment for a repair technician from Electronic Service Specialists, Best Buy's repair contractor. The appointment was scheduled for Monday, December 30th between 12 and 5pm so I took the afternoon off from work and waited. I started to get concerned because it was getting late so I called Electronic Service Specialists at 4:15p and left a message to see if they were still coming. At 4:45p I called Best Buy, and the technician also called the company and left a message. I was assured by the Best Buy technician that they would still come since they work late. The repair service was a no show and a no call. I have a 3--year warranty and I guess this repair service doesn't care since they will not make any money from this visit. I'm so disappointed with Best Buy first of all for using such an unprofessional company. I have since searched the reviews for Electronic Service Specialists and they were all bad. I was planning on replacing all my appliances with Best Buy, but this experience has made me rethink making future purchases from Best Buy. I will be canceling my New Years Eve dinner party since I don't have a working refrigerator. |
