Karmababy 34 | I scheduled an appointment with a representative about needing a repair on my washer who I specified to her it being a Speed Queen. I have a huge household and it has not been the most convenient to be washing clothes all the time at a laundry mat. Got the appointment set on that Friday for a repair man to come out Wednesday between 1-5. Great! Wednesday rolled around and 4:40 finally rolls around for me to get a last minute phone call from the repair man that they don't even work on Speed Queens. Huh?! And I'm just being told this which I waited 6 days for this?! He said yeah the representative didn't really know. Obviously. Thanks for nothing. I can see why Sears is slowly going out of business. |
John Geary | Technician basically told me that the item I called for was, in fact, not working. Did not repair. Did order some parts for another problem, and told my housekeeper how to fix it when the parts came in. Will need to recall to have the repair done correctly. |
Jodie Gregory | My refrigerator started freezing over, so I called Sears on 6/13/19 since we have a maintenance agreement with them. Not only was my wait time about 45 minutes every time I called them throughout this ordeal, on this initial call they said their first available appt was over 2 weeks away on 6/22/19! Are you kidding? They said they would put my situation in emergency status or whatever they call it and try to get me in earlier. I kept trying to call to move it up, and finally they were able to move it up a whopping 2 days to 6/20. The service tech came out, defrosted the whole thing, said he would need to order parts but what he did should make the thing usable until he came back in almost 2 weeks on 7/2. That appointment was scheduled with an 8am - 12pm window. After waiting around all morning until after noon with no show, I got on their website and chatted with someone because I didn't want to waste another 45 minutes of my life on hold by trying to call them who said that apparently the technician had a family emergency and wasn't going to show, but did anyone call me to tell me that? Not at all! And guess what? The next available appointment was, you guessed it, another 2 weeks out! And now my refrigerator was freezing over again so we had to move everything out of it again to our garage fridge. I then spent an hour defrosting the thing with a hair dryer to get it to at least work until he came back and then plugged it back in and waited until the next day to move everything back into it. Finally, this week on 7/15/19 our refrigerator was fixed. I have no problem with the repair work itself, but the whole process of getting it fixed was ridiculously painful and I wouldn't recommend anyone going through that. |

Well guess what after he left we looked and sure enough it was .Maybe he really doesn't know about washers or needs to find another vocation. |
