Patricia Smith | I wish I could give this place negative stars . My LG washer broke, and after 3 visits, poor communication and a nasty tech, my washer is still broken. It's been broken for almost 5 weeks now. I have a child as well, and have now spent close to 200 at the laundry mat. Each time I call, no one can give me a status, so I started to call LG, who would tell me if/when parts were ordered. When I called Ted's, I would be told that someone would get back to me... which never happened so I had to call myself. The tech that came out, Kevin, was less than friendly, and seemed like he either hated his job or to have to deal with women. At one visit, all I hear was him mumbling the whole time, something about “disgusting”. Another visit, he came with a part that was ordered, and after an hour of doing who knows what, told me it was broken, and would have to order a new one. When the LG text came in that my part was delivered.. no one bothered to call me so I called to schedule a 3rd visit. At the 3rd visit, Kevin was already in a mood, and angry that there was ice on the driveway ice storm and plenty of rock salt on the drive and told me he already fell that day and “broke his wrist”... He was at the house for maybe 10 minutes and said he had to contact LG IT and contact me next week Christmas week. I didn't hear back, so I called Thursday and was told there was no update, parts on back order? And someone would call me. No call that day. Friday, I called LG myself for info on parts. I was told that all parts were delivered, so I called Ted's to see what is happening next. I spoke to maybe the owner? Older man with an accent... who was a horrible man. Pretty much told me that he can't give me any status, no idea when/if parts are coming and pretty much told me that it was my fault for not buying American. He proceeded to tell me I'm not the only one waiting and that he had other problems, talked about the difficulty of his business and wouldn't let me finish a sentence and then told me to BE QUIET! I then expressed my disdain and told him he had no idea how to speak to a client and/woman, and was completely disrespectful. I said I would have my husband call, since the man had zero respect for women, which he took as a threat. I told him again that he was the one that told me to be quiet and I would not be dealing with him again. At this point, he hung up on me! I immediately called LG and they scheduled another repair with a different shop. I wouldn't send my enemy to Teds!!! |
Ryan Thorndike | Wish I could give less than one star. When a company sets a 5 hour appointment window. Doesn't call before they show up, even when it was requested that they call beforehand. Then calls saying I'm here, where are you. Refusing to wait 10 minutes for you to get there. Completely unacceptable. This is a business I run. It's not a personal home Appliance. I can not be expected to wait 5 hours out of my work day for a business that may or may not show up. Absolutely abhorrent business model and practice. I hope this review steers other potential customers away from your reprehensible company. |
Empress Maut | I had a horrible experience with this company. Kevin, the son of the owner, showed up to my home and immediately I you could see he was neither warm or friendly. The whole time he spoke to me he looked down his nose. I am a single woman and he was talking to me as if I need a father or husband to speak on my behalf if he was going to respect me. His misogynistic tone was more than aggravating, and when I explained to him that it was my landlord who is paying for the service rather than me, he refused to speak to me anymore about what he was doing. When I told him the landlord was almost at my house and he could wait for him outside, he got in his car and left. I will no longer be using this company and if you are a woman who's not attached to man, I would suggest you didn't either if you want any kind of courtesy or respect. I will be posting this review to my social media page of more than 50k followers, reporting the discrimination to the BBB, and speaking directly to the owner about it. Take your business to people who will appreciate it. |
