It was also time for routine maintenance on our washer, which we have a service plan for. We got a WONDERFUL repairman, Johnny, who is older but REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF, as well as being a very nice man. He and his partner worked on our appliances for an hour and determined that repairs to the dishwasher would cost more than a new dishwasher. He billed the service for the dishwasher as a "second appliance" under the washer so saved us money, which it was nice to put towards a new dishwasher the same day. Sears is good for repairs, possibly because they DO ALLOW older employees who know a LOT to keep working as long as they want to. We call Sears for everything, even non-Kenmore appliances. |
