Shane Twaddle | Krista went all out revamping my work boots. Had the soles replaced with vibram orange comfortable and stylish, she gave them a nice polish could see my refection in the leather! and executed the nicest jump stitch I've ever seen where I had snagged the side of my boot on a piece of scrap metal! Thank you so much, normally I buy new boots annually due to the abuse mine take throughout the year. Thanks to your work, I'm gonna see if these puppies make it through year two ! -happy customer |
Loren Olds | Save yourself the money, time and an argument with the cobbler and DON'T USE this shoe repair service!! I dropped off a boot for my daughter needing zipper repair. I made 4 trips in over 2 months before the boot was ready. Each time I was told they were behind bc they were short-staffed, and promised a new pickup date. The second time I went by, the guy in the shop spent 20 minutes on the phone with 4 people in 2 shop locations and couldn't find the boot anywhere. Told me Mark the guy who took my order would call me when he returned and located the boot. I never got a call. 3rd visit, boot not ready. 4th visit, I requested a refund. Mark said he didn't give refunds and was only willing to offer me 15 store credit on a 25 item. Said I "should be thankful" bc it was, "a zipper", as if he were giving me some great deal. The guy did not replace the zipper, based on his initial recommendation that to do so would be more than the cost of the boot itself. As it turns out, the zipper still hardly works. When I argued the partial credit his response was, "you obviously do not support small businesses". I support small businesses that provide timely, professional service with good customer care and who take responsibility when they fail to live up to said service. Instead, 2 months later, and over 3 hours worth of time spent traveling and waiting in the shop, I am left with a boot zipper that is barely better than when I brought it in, and a 15 credit at a shoe repair shop I will never return to! |
